USBands Students

Scholarship Opportunities For You

USBands and our partners give back to students from schools who participate in our events by offering scholarship opportunities. USBands scholarships go to at least two students who:

  • Demonstrate magnificence in their community
  • Articulate how their involvement in music has influenced their life
  • Describe how music will continue to have an influence in their life

At least one scholarship is awarded to a student who will be pursuing further education in music, and another scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing any higher education. Higher education includes but is not limited to vocational training, conservatory and other college degrees.

USBands Scholarship recipients will be determined by the USBands Advisory Board and announced in November. Scholarships provided by our partners are subject to separate rules and considerations.

Check back soon for application information.

LEADERSHIP CLINICS

Whether you're already in a leadership position or becoming a leader in your band program is your goal, this is your opportunity to learn the skills you need from those who know what it means to be a good leader. Check out our virtual leadership courses offered through e-Adjudicate! Currently offered in the How-To Series for students are Leadership: Audition Strategies and Interview Techniques and Student Leadership for Marching Band - Level 100.

Take these courses in June 2020 and receive 20% off your enrollment fee when you enter the code USB20 at checkout.

MUSIC IS COOL

Marching band and color guard students of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join USBands and The Cadets for an exciting, full-day clinic experience. See what it feels like to be a Cadet for the day as the Cadets Staff guides students through a curriculum of musical and visual performance techniques as well as leadership skills. Students will then get to show off what they've learned alongside the members of The Cadets in their section! This is guaranteed to be one of the best days of your summer, but that's not all we have in store! Each clinic day will culminate with attendance at an unforgettable DCI show that evening, included in the cost of registration!

Marching Arts At The Next Level

Many USBands Students continue their love of the marching arts performing as members of a drum corps. There are corps based all over the country who rehearse and perform during the summer months.
